He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Mary Romano Salerno and Salvatore "Diddy" Salerno; his wife Diane Salerno; his daughter Melissa (Jared Szedon); his grandchildren, Ella, Nicky, Zac and Brooks; his daughter Deborah (Leigh Edgar); his grandson Jacob; his great grandchild Paula (Nathan Fry); his brother Joe; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Swartz (Carolyn), Deborah Queeney and Sandra Skladany.
