He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ferguson and Florence Ferguson; his wife Marjorie Ferguson; his son John Scott Ferguson; and his siblings, Mary Ferguson, Ed Ferguson, Nan Craig and Catherine Berger.
He is survived by: his children, William Ferguson, Gregory Ferguson (Linda), Kim Neary (Michael) and Robert Ferguson; his daughter-in-law Jeanne Marie Ferguson; his grandchildren, Katelyn Rowe (Eli), Gregory, Jr. (Marley), Meghan Desautels (Patrick), Julia, Liam, Sean, Claire, Jennifer O'Mara (Kevin), Michael Neary, Jr. (Maria), Allison, Paige Vetterlein (Nick), Erin, Sarah and Riley; his great grandchildren, Eden, Lane, Vaughn, Ella, Theodore, Tate, Brooks, Scarlett, Wyatt, Chloe and Olivia; and his brother Peter Ferguson (Debbie) of Canton Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home-Wall (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary R. C. Church (424 Lincoln Ave, Avon-By-The-Sea, NJ 07717).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Homeside Hospice, in memory of William Ferguson.
