It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Ziegler (Barnegat, New Jersey), who passed away on December 9, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dolores Ziegler to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard W. Shepherd and Ida Shepherd; and her husband Douglas D. Ziegler, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Douglas D. Ziegler, Jr. (Patricia), Janice L. Sloane (Peter) and Sharon A. Ciccone (Vincent); her grandchildren, Douglas, III (Madonna), Mark (Cynthia), Kristin (Jimmy), Staci (James), Brittany (Adrian) and Jaclyn (Brittany); and her great grandchildren, Heather (Matt), Kelly, Sean, Kinsley, Sebastian and Bryson. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barnegat Funeral Home (841 W Bay Ave, Barnegat Township, NJ 08005). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Waretown United Methodist Church (27 Bryant Rd, Waretown, NJ 08758).
