With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Emmerich Jr. (Barnegat, New Jersey), who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Richard's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Richard has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard P. Emmerich Sr. (Boppy) and Florence James; and his sister Florence A. Capezzuto. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J Emmerich. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Barnegat Funeral Home (841 W Bay Ave, Barnegat Township, NJ 08005).
