He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Engebretsen, and Maria Engebretsen, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Soontari; his stepsons, Pholkan Lertburanakan and Pollakit Lertburanakan; his grandchildren, Pimpakan, Pimchanak and Pichayut Lertburanakan; and his brother Carl (Yong Engebretsen).
