With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean McDermott in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on February 20, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francis A. Monaghan and Catherine Segrave Monaghan; her husband John P. McDermott (Jack); her children, John P. McDermott Jr. (Sharon Burke) of Leland, Maura Shea of Upton and Monica McDermott Bergin of Westfield; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Patrick (Lanie), Caroline Shea, Catherine, Margaret (Maggie) and Nora Bergin; and her son-in-law Kevin F. Shea.
