He is survived by: his wife Iris Figueroa; his children, Monica Figueroa-Perez (Juan), Erick Figueroa and Nicole Figueroa (Alex Medina); his grandchildren, Eddie McGurr, Serena Perez, Leo Medina, Ava Medina, Robert Figueroa and Izabella Figueroa; and his sister Linda Figueroa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
