He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Kiernan (Paugh) and John Kiernan; and his siblings, Kevin Kiernan, Patricia Kildosher and Elizabeth Wilkins-Knapp.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Kiernan of Aberdeen; and his daughter Meghan Kiernan-Chow (Dylan) of Aberdeen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Day Funeral Home (361 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Benedict RC Church (165 Bethany Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
