He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr and Maria Suarez; and his siblings, Gloria, Conseulo, Anthony and Gabriel.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Richard (Sherral Suarez) and Denise (Nick Giancaspro); his brother Ben; his grandchildren, Graig Suarez, Tracey McCarrick (Craig) and Gillian Giancaspro; and his great grandchild Juliet McCarrick.
