With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garth Wilbur James Smalley of Belmar, New Jersey, born in South River, New Jersey, who passed away on December 4, 2021 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Gustav W. Smalley; his brother Gregory Smalley; and his friend Christopher Dincuff. He is survived by : his wife Gina (Purdue); his children, Charlie Mae, Christopher Garth and Riley Maureen; his mother Gail Smalley (Rappleyea) of South River; and his siblings, Gustav C. Smalley of Manville, Glenn Smalley of South River and Gordon Smalley of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Christopher More Dincuff Memorial Scholarship Fund.
