He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Roy Sr. Bayles and Viola Bayles (Beers); his wife Carol Gearhart Bayles; his children, Jonathan Bayles (Denise), Timothy Bayles, Deanne Wangerien and Carol Gaibor (Edward); his grandchildren, Virginia Bailey of Madison, TJ, Mackenzie, Edward, Hailey, Luke, Alyssa and Julia; and his siblings, Sarah, Sandy and Francis "Buddy" Bayles.
