He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Newman and Edna Newman. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; and his children, Jeff Newman (Karen), Steve Newman (Kimberly), Kelli Bolinski (David) and Brian Newman (Lesley). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home, 524 Northwest Blvd., Vineland, NJ, in memory of Donald.
