He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johanson, and Clara Belle Johanson, Sr.; and his siblings, Janet Nelson and Kenneth Johanson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Johanson; his children, Maria Kieffer (Bob), James III (Michele), Robert Johanson (Kim), Michele Kean (Todd), Jeanine Whitman (Shawn), Melinda Johanson and Brian Johanson; his grandchildren, Tara Horst (Trevor), Alexander Kieffer, Olivia Kieffer, Briana Johanson, Jacob Johanson, Nathan Johanson, Ethan Whitman, Madelynn Whitman, Charlotte Whitman, Rosalie Whitman, Lillian Whitman, Gabriel Whitman and Eleanor Johanson; his great grandchildren, Hudson and Delta Horst; and his pets, Kato and Dusty.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Earle Funeral Home - Blackwood (122 W Church St, Blackwood, NJ 08012). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
