He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecile Alworth and Donald T. Alworth; his former wife Sally Alworth; his son Jeremy Alworth; and his grandchildren, Anderson Alworth and Eliza Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Adair Sidford; his brother Tom Alworth; his children, Jeffery Alworth, Roger Alworth, David Alworth, Cameron Alworth, Ginnie Alworth, Gordon Alworth and James Alworth; and his stepchildren, Kristin Porter, Shauna Bailey, Melvin Lee Wright, Eric Edgar Wright, Manuel Jeremiah Wright and Anna Wright. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
