He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Duckworth and Evelyn Duckworth; his wife Dorothy L Duckworth; his son Brian L Duckworth; and his siblings, Robert Duckworth, Kenneth Duckworth and Jane Duckworth.

He is survived by: his daughter Susan Raines (Larry); his daughter-in-law Mary Duckworth; his great grandchildren, Connor McDougall, Berkeley and Levi Matlock; and his siblings, Richard Duckworth, Donald Duckworth and Geraldine Vliet.
