Butrymowicz (Samantha); her siblings, John H. Gierveld (Donna) and Diana L. Stierli (Dave); and her siblings-in-law, Jim (Donna), John Butrymowicz (Barbara), Donna Brown and Phyllis Bruder. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newbaker Funeral Home (200 NJ-94, Blairstown, NJ 07825). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Joanna's memory be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 733 3rd Avenue, New York, NY 10017.
