He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Maria Da Cunha; his son John Christopher Cunha; his father Joao Da Cunha; his sibling Maria Pereira (Tony); his former wife Gail Cunha; his nieces and nephews, Elza Pereira (Adrian), Antonio Paulo (Anna) and Angie Belanger (Joe); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Laila, Zoe, Sebastiano, Antonio, Joey and Josh.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, stjude.org.
