Torrisi of Bloomfield, New Jersey, born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025 at the age of 88. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Phyllis D. Torrisi (Petito); his children, Lisa Ruiz (Edgar "Rafael" Ruiz), John Torrisi (Gina) and Otto Torrisi (Linda); his grandchildren, Alyssa Markowitz, Anthony, Nicole, Vincent Torrisi, Olivia, Rafael and Hannah Ruiz; his great grandchildren, Lucia Michelle Ruiz and Freya Quinn Samuel; and his sisters, RoseMarie DiPasquale and Rosalie Svehla (John).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home (486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (23 Cottage Pl, Bloomfield, NJ 07003).
