Gloria C. Buonarota Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Gloria C. Buonarota of Bogota, New Jersey, whose life came to an end on August 5, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Gloria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gloria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Daniel Buonarota and Cindy Sopelsa (Arthur); her grandchildren, Lacey Guercia (James), Lara Sopelsa, Tori Steeves (Brian) and Stef-Hana Sopelsa; and her great-grandparent Xander Steeves.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home (161 Washington Ave, Dumont, NJ 07628). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (115 E Fort Lee Rd, Bogota, NJ 07603).
