He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Charles, Sr. and Mary Catherine Burkhard; his wife Mildred "Milly"; his brother-in-law Frederick Lee; and his nephew Thomas Lee.
He is survived by: his son James Frank Burkhard (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Frank, Greta, Agatha and Beatrice; his sister Dorothy; his nieces, Karen (Dennis), Kathy, Jacqueline (James) and Nancy (Fred); and his nephew Frederick (Sandra).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home (312 W Main St, Boonton, NJ 07005). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Christopher's R. C. Church (1050 Littleton Rd, Parsippany, NJ 07054). A burial will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery (107 Essex Ave, Boonton, NJ 07005).
