He is survived by: his son James Frank Burkhard (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Frank, Greta, Agatha and Beatrice; his sister Dorothy; and his sibling's children, Karen (Dennis), Kathy, Jacqueline (James), Nancy (Fred) and Frederick (Sandra).
