Bonita D. Bassion Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonita D. Bassion of Bordentown, New Jersey, who passed away on July 8, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bonita D. Bassion to pay them a last tribute.
Though Bonita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bonita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth R. Sr. Yoder and Betty E. Yoder (Pfleegor). She is survived by: her son Seth Bassion (Lori); her grandchildren, Jessica and Taylor; and her son Shan Bassion (Mitchell Sammis).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brooks Funeral Home (207 Broadway St, Turbotville, PA 17772). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In honor of Bonnie's courageous battle with Parkinson's disease, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Michael J. Fox Foundation to support ongoing research and find a cure.
