He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Cassarini and Maria Cassarini. He is survived by: his wife Mafalda "Mitzie" Cassarini; his children, John Reno Jr., Margaret "Midge" Cassarini, Lisa Newcomer (Cassarini) and Cliff Newcomer; and his grandchildren, Stephen Newcomer, John "Jack" Peter Cassarini, Collin Cassarini, Carly Newcomer and Devon Newcomer.
