He is survived by: his wife Debra; his sons, Daniel John Leary IV (Kelly), Conor James Leary (Patrick Dezort) and Colin Terrence Leary (Alex Ferrelli); his grandson Daniel John Leary V; and his siblings, Marybeth Leary, David (Mick) and Donald (Glenn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
