He was predeceased by : his wife Viola Marie Hoffman (DiLeo); and his brother Richard Hoffman. He is survived by : his children, Joseph A. Hoffman, Jr. (Sharon) of Somerset, Mary Lynn Hawkinson (Greg) of Somerset and Michael Hoffman (Britton) of Beach Haven, NJ; his grandchildren, Eric, Jennifer, Christian, Carter, Michael, Kelsey, Christopher, Taylor, Jonathan, Kathleen and Julianne; and his great grandchildren, Shoal, Logan and Forest.
