He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Smith and Hilda Smith. He is survived by: his wife Susan Smith of Brielle; his son Stephen Smith (Julie) of Brielle; his granddaughters, Gracie and Alexandra; and his brothers, Kenneth Smith of Texas and Michael Smith (Kathleen). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
