He is survived by: his children, James Gregory Deppeler, Jr. and Hillary Somers Deppeler (Michael Faherty); his grandson Hayes Somers Faherty; and his siblings, John Howard Deppeler, III and Mary Jill Uhden (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
