He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Luis Acevedo and Carmen Quinones; his wife Esther M.; his children, Jose R. (Marilyn Santiago) and Melissa Acevedo (Cristopher M. Llane); his grandchildren, Pedro Jose Acevedo, Natalia A. Llane and Giovanni Arroyo; and his great grandchildren, Avalynn Rose Acevedo, Avian El Acevedo, Emma Sofia Arroyo and Gianna Luna Arroyo.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home (3425 River Rd, Camden, NJ 08105). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Calvary Cemetery.
