He is survived by : his wife Margaret Taylor (Peggy); his children, Joseph Wesley Reed (Margaret) and Veronica Reed; his grandchildren, Wesley Richard Reed, Joseph Wesley Reed Jr. and Serena LaShay Reed; his great grandchildren, Lacyir Reed and Mia Reed; his stepgrandson Brandon Frazier; his siblings, Leroy Reed (Shirley), Reginald Reed (Marsha), Randy Reed, Kenneth Reed, Cheyenne Reed (Felicia) and Donna Blalock (Gary); and his friend Bernard Smith.
