With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis S. Ayars Sr. (Carneys Point, New Jersey), born in Bridgeton, New Jersey, who passed away on July 9, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Ayars and Lucille Bertolini Burpulis; his stepfather John Burpulis; and his siblings, Harry Ayars, Carol Jenkins and Lucille Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen (Roebuck); his children, Michelle Croft (Jay), Lewis S. Ayars Jr. (Shelly), Jamie Ayars, Tony Ayars (Kim) and Stephanie McDonald (Kenny); his stepmother Nancy Ayars; his siblings, Mike Ayars, Iva Pacheco and Alice Middleman; his grandchildren, Jay Croft, Kara Croft, Dylan Ayars, Ryan Ayars, Seth Ayars, Alexa Ayars, Justin Keeler, Kenny McDonald Jr. and Lucas McDonald; and his great grandchild Mason Croft.
The family has suggested that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678 in Lou's memory.
