She was predeceased by: her parents, Irma Loprete and Harry Loprete; her husband Charlie (Fordham University); her daughter Catherine Mindel; and her sister Diane Loprete Rinaldi.
She is survived by: her children, Chuck (Sandra) of Nutley, Robert (Mary Alice) of Cedar Grove and Joanne Utkewicz (Duane) of Montville; her grandchildren, Christie Rosania (Tommy), Robert Carella (Danielle), Suzanne Michaels (Jay), Charles (Chip), Melissa Magill (Ryan), Kaitlyn Vasvari (Tom), Brian Utkewicz (Shannon) and Carly Mindel; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Tyler Michaels, Amelia, Charlie, Callie Rosania, Giavanna, Raffaella, Robert Carella, Mason Magill and Thomas Vasvari; her brother Michael A. Loprete; and her son-in-law Peter Mindel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
