She was predeceased by : her husband Eugene Melo (Giro); and her son James Melo (Jimmy). She is survived by : her children, Barbara Mueller (Jack) of Tacoma, WA, Eugene Melo (Paula) of Bradenton, FL, Catherine Nagidi (Rachid) of Morristown, NJ, Margaret Gordon (Lamont Simmons) of Cedar Knolls, NJ, Mary Melo (Mike Hopka) of Parsippany, NJ and Jennifer Briggs (Randy) of Boonton, NJ.; her grandchildren, Lauren Barach (Eli), Sarah Abplanalp (Nick), Jared Melo, Danielle Nagidi, Alyssa Simmons, Mimi Nagidi (Chris Cullen), Ashley Briggs and Kelli Briggs; her great grandchildren, Gianna Melo, Miles Melo, Solomon Barach, Maren Barach and Amelia Abplanalp; and her siblings, John Barron, Joseph Barron and Janet Triggs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
