With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lela Presnell Brown of Cedarville, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Taft Presnell and Ethel Forester Presnell; her husband Frank David Brown; her son Stephen Keith Brown; and her siblings, Ruby Haynes, Mrytle Presnell, Hugh Presnell and Ernest Taft Presnell, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jon Stanley Brown of New Castle, DE, Susan Katrina Brown of Cedarville, NJ and Jason Stacey Brown of Afton, TN; her siblings, Betty Presnell of Clyde, NC and Rannel Presnell (Loretta) of Citronelle, AL; her brother-in-law Charles Haynes of Waynesville, NC.; her grandchildren, Katrina Ecret, Samuel Ecret, Kristen Brown, Jerrilynn, Katey, Winston and Devon Brown; and her great grandchildren, Ashlyn Ecret, Charlotte Ecret, Wyatt Ecret, Sydney Ecret, Eliana Broughton, Gianna Broughton and Leon Lawing.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Salvation Army, 290 Pigeon St. Waynesville, NC 28786.
