He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; and his son Scott. He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela, Cheryl and Lynda.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Alexander's name to the Children's Specialized Hospital, Mountainside, NJ. at http://www.childrens-specialized.org .
