He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosemarie Zambell, Sr. (Pankratz) and Anton Zambell,; and his brother Philip Zambell. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Zambell (Maran); his children, Jeanette Zambell Hanrahan (Terence M. Hanrahan), Anton J. Zambell III (Nicole) and Michael Zambell (Jill); his grandchildren, Anton L., Jordan, Owen, Mason and Breigh Zambell; his siblings, Rose Mary Lavin (Tom), Melissa Sinoradzki (Steven), Jeffrey Zambell (Patricia) and Robert Zambell (Laura); and his sister-in-law Denise Zambell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Werson Funeral Home (635 N Wood Ave, Linden, NJ 07036). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Apostle Church (571 Valley Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
