We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2018, Francis Henry Markel Jr. (Clementon, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jacqueline Markel; his children, Alicia Faulk (James), Francis Markel, III (Theresa), Jacqueline Cornwell (David), Mark Markel (Lynda), John Markel (Melissa) and Lawrence Markel (Cassie); and his siblings, Robert Markel (Ann) and Marge Acheson. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to West Deptford High School re: Czekalski Scholarship Fund, 1600 Old Crown Point, West Deptford, NJ 08093.
