Carmelo Leuzzi Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carmelo Leuzzi of Cliffside Park, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Carmelo farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carmelo is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gaetano Leuzzi and Vincenza Leuzzi; his sister Cathy Arfuso (Carmelo); and his sibling's children, Phil Arfuso (Jolee Matone) and Melissa Solis (Alex).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. K. Macagna Funeral Home (495 Anderson Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace RC Church (395 Delano Pl, Fairview, NJ 07022).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
