We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2025, at the age of 92, Elaine Nelkin (Clifton, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. In the vast expanse of eternity, Elaine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elaine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Bornstein and Louis Bornstein; her sister Pearl Chernet; and her grandson Andrew Plotkin. She is survived by: her husband Merwin Nelkin; her daughters, Randi and Mindi; her grandchildren, Kyle Plotkin, Corey Kaunfer, Julie Plotkin and Adam Kaunfer; and her great grandchild Nathan Plotkin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, many friends and her loving caregivers.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the King Solomon Memorial Park (550 Dwasline Rd, Clifton, NJ 07012). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at the Menorah Chapels (2950 Vauxhall Rd, Vauxhall, NJ 07088).
