He was predeceased by: his wife Anne G. Emmerling; his children, Jack Emmerling and Mary Engelbert (Kevin); his grandchildren, Jane Ann and Kelsey; and his partner Jean Shaner.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas (late Nancy), William (Shirley), Mark (Nancy) and Joseph (Donna); his grandchildren, Elyse, Kristin, Kevin, Erika, Katie, Conor, Stephen, Joseph, Billy, Jack, Jenna and Luke; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Noa Esme, Jack, Henry and Wyatt.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Church (809 Park Ave, Collingswood, NJ 08108). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2398 Marlton Pike W, Cherry Hill Township, NJ 08002).
