He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDonnell and Elsie McDonnell; and his brother John McDonnell (Helene). He is survived by: his wife Elaine Gallagher; his stepchildren, Eileen Ferrari (Chris) and Jackie Antrilli (Charles); his sister Joann Ruggiero (Tony); his sibling's children, Denise (Brad), Tim, John (Stephanie) and Ryan; his great-niece Colleen; and his great-nephews, John, Tommy and Jack.
