She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond E. Burr, Jr.; her parents, Sylvan Cox and Anna Cox; her grandson Richard B. Nielubowicz; and her siblings, Sylvan Cox, Jr., June Rodriguez, Arlene Wilkins and Judith Somers.

She is survived by: her children, Karen A. (Richard), Mark E. Burr (Eileen) and James M. Burr (Leslie); her grandchildren, Alyssa R. Nielubowicz (Matthew O' Gorman), Ethan S. Burr and Shane S. Burr; and her great grandchildren, Graham O'Gorman and Gwendolyn O'Gorman.
