He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Gloria; and his siblings, Richard, William, Marilyn and Gerald.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Byrne and Noel Byrne (Shawn Douma); his granddaughter Peyton; his siblings, Eileen (Johnny Hromoko), Gloria Byrne Mitchell, Lorraine (Joseph Lynch), Paul Byrne and Joseph Sr (Vilma Byrne); and his sister-in-law Jane Byrne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
