She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Spearman and Almeter Spearman; her husband Jacob Frederick Coons, Sr.; her children, Wadie Lee Coons and Michael Anthony Coons; and her granddaughter April Rosemary Coons.
She is survived by: her children, Lynda A. Coons, Patricia A. Coons-Wallace (James), Jacob F., Jr. (Rhonda), Esaw W. (Sonya) and Robert W. (Louise); and her brother-in-law Esaw W. Coons (Ruby). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
