With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Salvatore C. Assorgi (Cranbury, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Assorgi and Josephine Assorgi (Titone). He is survived by: his wife Mickey Assorgi (Rao); his children, Frank Assorgi (Carrie), Vincent Schiavone (Anne), Anthony Schiavone (Christine Magnifico), Annie Assorgi (Chris Davis) and Loretta Schiavone Vingara (Ben Letson); his grandchildren, Anthony, Michael, Amanda, Matthew, Rocco, Kate, Luke, Lola, Emily and Saverio; his sister Fran; his brother-in-law John Genovese; his niece Nicole (Steve Melendez); his great-nephews, John and Matthew; and his great-niece Madison. He is also survived by his wife of 35 years, his family of five children and ten grandchildren, and the numerous friends.
