She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hackman and Helen Kugler Hackman; her husband William J "Nussy" Kowalchuk, Sr.; her daughter Donna L. Kowalchuk; and her sister Shirley Boss.
She is survived by: her children, William J. Kowalchuk, Jr. (Rosemary) of Phillipsburg and Wendy M. Wilson of Phillipsburg; her grandchildren, Daniel Kowalchuk, Christine Perkinson, Stewart, Kelly Sickels and Natasha Snyder; and her sisters, Betty Burd, Mildred Race and Barbara Berry. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
