He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Lovett, Sr. and Thelma C. Lovett (Lentz); and his brother Michael Lovett. He is survived by: his spouse Margarite M. Lovett; his daughters, Marybeth Linser (Doug), Karen Harper (Tim) and Margie Ryan (Dan); his grandchildren, Alexis Ryan (Tom Lynch), Emily Carrell (Brian), Kalen Linser, Troy Linser (Haley), Andrew Ryan, Amy Terra (Nicholas), Corinne Ruiz (Sebastian), Cole Linser, Danny Ryan, Savannah Harper, TJ Harper and Luke Harper; his great grandchildren, Carter Lynch, Jace Lynch and Elizabeth Joy Terra; and his sisters, Linda Nelson (Jim), Carol Callanan (Bill) and Mary Vishton (Rich). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Givnish Funeral Home (1200 US-130, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Name (260 Conrow Rd, Delran, NJ 08075). An entombment will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Lakeview Memorial Park (1300 US-130, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077).
