As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Emmett may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his wife Constance "Connie" Kresge; his children, Dawne Thumhart (Randy), Chris Ponsini (Allen), Emmett Kresge III (Roberta) and Zachary Kresge (Maritza); his adopted Pawnee; Ezra Fields (Ralpha). He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1221 12th Ave, Dorothy, NJ 08317). A burial was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.
