She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Tenny and Abdul Tenny; and her husband Clayton A. Carlson. She is survived by: her children, Lynda (Thomas Funk) of Lake Ariel, Donna (David Swineford) of South River, NJ, Gary Carlson (Carol) of Hightstown, NJ and Douglas Carlson (Jeanne Lehmphul) of Newburgh, NY.; her grandchildren, Robert Funk, Daniel Funk (Carolina), Laurie (Kellan Thompson), Nicholas Swineford (Annabelle), Charlene (Steven DiDonato), Kenneth Carlson (Pachi), Tyler Carlson and Trevor Carlson; and her great grandchildren, Leah, Ryan Swineford and Wesley DiDonato.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Calvary United Methodist Church (CUMC), 185 West Madison Ave., Dumont, NJ 07628 noted Carlson memorial.
