With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Sheldon Spry Jr. (East Brunswick, New Jersey), born in Norfolk, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Marion; his stepfather Pat Patterson; and his sister Gayle Wenzel. He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Spry of Griggstown; his stepson Christopher Zinna (Dawn) of Griggstown; his daughters, Dawn Mauldin of Clermont, FL and Joy Costigan (Peter) of Whitehouse Station; his stepdaughter Jennifer Chatman (Richard) of Somerset; his sister Patricia Gibson (Michael) of Virginia Beach, VA; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Cole, Adrianna and Mason.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brunswick Memorial (454 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ 08816). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Ed may be made to either Wounded Warrior Project (https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org) or to World Central Kitchen.
