It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Millard Berry (East Brunswick, New Jersey), born in Fairfield, Alabama, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Monroe Berry and Elizabeth Berry; his brothers, Harold and Charles; and his son Val Monroe Berry.

He is survived by : his wife Charlene Ann Berry; his children, Von Millard Berry and Kimberly Berry-Faulcon; his son-in-law Kevin Faulcon; his grandchildren, Alex Berry, Korin Berry, Ashley Faulcon, Aliyah Faulcon, Kristian Berry and Veronica Berry; and his great grandchild Lucia Berry.

“Jay modeled what a good husband was to his wife and children in his actions of being Protector and Provider. Jay taught his sons to be men of Caliber and Timber, and his daughter that these traits should be inherent in the person you choose to have as a life partner. This resulted in the daughter becoming a Capable Warrior. Jay, you will be missed. It was always a pleasure being in your presence.”
