She was predeceased by: her parents, Adeline D'Amelio and Vincent D'Amelio; and her brothers, Joseph and Johnny. She is survived by: her brothers, Angelo (Diana), Dominic (Lisa) and Frank (Kathy); her cousins, Jerry, Anthony (Tracy) and Rocco (Carol); and her siblings' children, Autumn, Vanessa, Michael, Christopher, Lynn, Anna, Joanna and Angela.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Assumption Church (91 Maple Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960), honoring Carmela's love for her faith.
